Accessibility statement

Our commitment

RTW Checker (rtwchecker.co.uk) is committed to making its services accessible to as many people as possible, in line with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.

We design our dashboard so that users with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments can carry out their compliance work without barriers.

What we do well

The dashboard is fully keyboard navigable. All actions can be reached without a mouse.
Colour contrast meets WCAG 2.2 AA throughout the marketing site and product UI.
Light and dark themes are available, including a system-preference auto mode.
Form fields use semantic labels and visible focus rings.
Tables use proper header semantics so screen readers announce columns correctly.
Layout reflows down to 320px viewport width without horizontal scrolling.
Live activity counters use ARIA live regions so updates are announced.

Known limitations

We are honest about what we have not finished. As of June 2026, these are the gaps we know about:

The bulk-check progress table can be slow for screen readers when more than 100 workers are processing simultaneously. We are migrating to a virtualised list to fix this.
Some PDF evidence documents downloaded from gov.uk are scanned-image based and contain text that is not selectable. This is outside our control — the source PDF is fixed by the gov.uk Right to Work portal.
The Cal.com booking widget is provided by a third party. Their WCAG conformance is published at cal.com/accessibility.

Enforcement procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the accessibility regulations. If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).

How we tested

The marketing site and dashboard were last tested in June 2026 using axe DevTools, Lighthouse accessibility audit, and manual keyboard / screen-reader testing in VoiceOver (macOS) and NVDA (Windows).

This statement was prepared on 14 June 2026 and last reviewed on 14 June 2026. It will be reviewed at least every six months, or whenever significant accessibility-affecting changes are made.
