Cookie Policy
We use the minimum number of cookies needed to make the service work. No advertising trackers, no behavioural analytics, no third-party scripts that profile you.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember things between visits — for example, that you are signed in.
2. The cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
rtw_session |
Keeps you signed in to your RTW Checker account between page loads | Strictly necessary | When you sign out, or after 14 days |
rtw_company |
Remembers the active company tenant for users with access to more than one | Strictly necessary | 30 days |
cookie_consent |
Remembers your choice on the cookie consent banner so we don't show it again | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
All three are strictly necessary cookies — without them the service cannot remember that you are signed in or which company you are working on. Under PECR Regulation 6 we are permitted to set strictly necessary cookies without explicit consent, but we still surface the banner so you know they exist.
3. What we do NOT use
We deliberately do not run any of the following:
- Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any other behavioural-tracking script
- Advertising cookies of any kind
- Cross-site retargeting cookies
- Social-media widgets that drop third-party cookies (Like buttons, embedded tweets, etc.)
- Fingerprinting scripts that build a hidden visitor profile
This is a deliberate choice — we sell compliance software, not advertising space, so we don't need to know which other sites you've visited.
4. Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block our strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in to the service.

5. Changes to this policy
If we ever change which cookies we use we will update this page and re-prompt the consent banner.
